Battalion’s Worth of Problems
Yikes. If there ever was a movie that displays the need for a decent audio guy, it is Battalion! It is hard to get over bad audio in any movie. Most of the time, the audio needs to be more on point than what’s on the screen. Too bad the writer/director/producer Michael Miller didn’t also fourth as an audio engineer instead of visual effects!

Luckily, Battalion is available on Amazon Prime Video! If you really, really, really, really like this movie, it is also available on DVD for $12.99 if you really, really, really like movies with bad audio.
In short, Battalion, which doesn’t have one it it, a “surfer” named John Blake who is pushed to joint he Marine Corps after his hometown of L.A. is attacked by machines from who-knows-where. His adopted brother, Chris, is all over the place – depressed, pumped-marine, then completely without hope. The Marine jargon is TERRIBLE – Marines are always calling themselves “soldiers”! Did we ever mention the audio is terrible?
