Steel Cage Stupidness: Worst Match at Money In the Bank 2019
The Raw Loaf tries to be positive when it comes to pro wrestling. Let’s face it, there’s enough negativity out there, but sometimes, things are done so weirdly and in my face that I have to talk about them. The WWE Steel Cage match is terrible. They are a complete waste of time. Why?
Well, just look at Shane McMahon vs. The Miz at Money In the Bank 2019. It’s so easy to win a cage match in the WWE. The door to the cage isn’t locked like it use to be.
Look how easy it is to win a WWE Steel Cage Match
A wrestler could literally suicide dive through the door and win the match.
A wrestler could literally fall into the door and win the match.
A wrestler could push the door open and climb out of the ring and win the match.
Wrestlers choose to not win the match for some reason.
It’s not like they’re not trying to win the matches either. Did you not see how Shane tried to win right when the bell rung? Numerous times, Shane chose to not win the match for some reason.
What made this match even worse is that rope breaks work for pinfalls, but not submissions?
Regardless of that fact, this match could’ve been over about 69 times before that atrocity took place. It’s so easy to win a cage match in the WWE, but for some reason, the wrestlers in the WWE choose to waste all of our time.
But What Can Be Done about the WWE Steel Cage Match?
I think they need to lock the cage again, but maybe they could use a chain and combination lock. Whoever is trying to escape the cage would have to undo the lock and unchain the door. Knowing the WWE, they would probably try to make some dumb thing where the wrestler has to try to figure out the combination, but the combination should be put right on the lock. Maybe even put two combination locks.
What do you think? Does the WWE need to fix its steel cage door issue? Leave your thoughts in the comments below, and share this with your friends, families, and enemies.
