WD 2TB External Drive on top of my Nox Mouse Pad to show you how old I am.
The WD 2TB External Drive does exactly what I have needed it to do. I put files on it. It stores them.
To give you an idea of its transfer speed, I copied 12,130 items totaling 457GB to the Western Digital 2 Terabyte Elements Portable External USB 3.0 Hard Drive and the Western Digital 6 Terabyte Desktop External USB 3.0 Hard Drive. Here’s how they scored:

- WD 6TB External Desktop Hard Drive – 1 hour, 1 minute, and about 41 seconds.

- WD 2TB Elements Portable Hard Drive – 1 Hour, 28 Minutes, and about 6 seconds!
The portable drive took a little over 26 minutes to transfer the same amount of files.
Still a great product, however. I just wish kids these days knew how much storage was priced back in the 2000’s. They’d rate this product 5 stars no questions asked if they knew!
