Should America Split Up Transcript

Sean BLoafX
Hey everyone, Sean here. So we had a little issue with Juan’s microphone on this episode. It’s not too bad. But the first like 10 minutes or so, you might hear some clicking, I did my best to get most of it out. And remember, you can always go to anchor.fm/oiopod, if you would like to leave us a message, if you’d like to correct us, that would be awesome. Or if you just want to leave a general message, we can probably work it into a future episode. So without further ado!

Theme
Some things should be said or shouldn’t. Oh, it’s on with Juan and Sean.

Sean BLoafX
Juan, you’re not from this country? Get out!

Juan
What are you talking about?

Sean BLoafX
Ah, everybody not from this country should get out of here is all on saying.

Juan
Damn. That includes the founding fathers?

Sean BLoafX
That’s where that argument goes away. And today on Oh, it’s on!

Juan
With Juan.

Sean BLoafX
And Sean, we’re going to be talking about whether or not America should be split up. Now, Juan, do you think America should be split up?

Juan
I think it’s already happening.

Sean BLoafX
It’s happening. But will it happen?

Juan
Know what I mean? It’s happened. It’s like they’ve already started that movement going on. Who was at? I think it was a one of those like, prestigious Ivy League schools, or would like Yale or something like that, where they, where they just recently had their only blacks graduation. And they were excited about it.

Sean BLoafX
Oh, I didn’t hear about that.

Juan
Yes. It was on the news. Yeah. So the movement, it’s already started. So I’m guessing, you know, there’s going to be like, only black schools only likes restaurants. But these people are so excited. But it’s like about time we have our own only blacks. It’s like, they did somewhat try to stop this. One going got assassinated for it.

Sean BLoafX
And didn’t it get stopped?

Juan
Yes.

Sean BLoafX
Wow, I did not hear about that. That’s crazy. I was by the news one. I don’t watch the news as much as I can. But it was on TV, and I was watching it. And people are so, people’s ideas of how things should run are so different.

Juan
Mm hmm.

Sean BLoafX
And it blows my mind that every four years or so, we keep trying a different way of doing things. And we’re wondering why things aren’t working. If you’re trying to lose weight, but you’re eating cheeseburgers all the time. Like, nothing’s gonna happen.

Juan
Yes.

Sean BLoafX
You’re just gonna get unhealthier because you’re eating too many cheeseburgers. And I just wanted to see if we could come out with a plan today on how America could be split. For me and myself, because I am a libertarian for the most part, right? Well, I kind of I am. Um, I just don’t think that people understand the difference between a lot of people think libertarians and Republicans are the same. But they’re it’s not even like close. Oh, man…

Juan
I thought I thought I was like the opposite.

Sean BLoafX
That they got. Well, I mean, one wants government one doesn’t. I mean you can’t really get

Juan
No I thought they were libertarians were related to repub. I mean to Democrats,

Sean BLoafX
Where are you? Are you trying to troll right now?

Juan
No, that’s what everybody keeps saying? Because democrats want a free country. And so

Sean BLoafX
That’s… okay, calm down Juan.

Juan
That’s why do you think everybody’s coming to America with our open borders now?

Sean BLoafX
So anyways, so there’s, there’s obviously at least two major different ways of thinking here. And I don’t think that they can work together. And I don’t think that they they can balance each other out over time, because all government is doing is growing. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

Juan
Yes.

Sean BLoafX
And that obviously, that’s the goal for both of the parties. But nothing’s really getting done. Because every it’s changing too often. So, except it’s getting bigger, which is what I don’t want at all. I think that’s bad. And so I’m thinking to myself, I was just watching that news clip one day, and there are two people just with completely opposing opinions, but it’s what the opinions of most of the country are.

Juan
Ah.

Sean BLoafX
So why are we trying to force each other to live together to deal with each other. Why do you think that is Juan?

Juan
Well, I think the reason it tried to force us to live together as one nation under one rule…Well, just the way the government is. I mean, they want to take over.

Sean BLoafX
Yeah.

Juan
Look at it. It’s like, if you have an idea, it’s bad. If you’re if you say you’re Republican, that’s bad. If you say that you’re democratic, that’s bad. Because they want just one nation under one rule under one government. So why do they still keep handing out stimulus checks? Hey, we’re the government. We’re taking care of you. Hey, we don’t want you to open a business. Hey, we’ll take care of you. That’s what the government’s doing.

Sean BLoafX
All I heard in all that was one, Juan government under Juan rule. Thank you, we’re just pitching for yourself to be the Supreme Leader of America. But let’s say okay, well, the reason why we’re not getting broken up, is because the South tried to do that once. And Lincoln said, Nope, and killed a lot of southerners over it. In Lincoln is widely regarded as like the greatest president we’ve ever had. So as long as that mindset is around, then I don’t think anybody’s really going to try to secede from America. If it happens, let’s just say it happens. Where do you think the line would be drawn? Like, if America had to be split into two? Where’s, where are the where’s the split happening?

Juan
Damn! I need to look at a map because because that would say what California for sure. would want to be its own little country. Yeah. Yeah. So that’s, I would say, California turned into a third world country, for sure it would, because yeah, how liberal it is. Also, what is it? Washington and Oregon. There’ll be liberals. I mean, look at Oregon’s already into third world country, for that shits ran.

Sean BLoafX
What do you mean? I don’t I guess I don’t know a lot about Oregon. So…

Juan
We get all that because you know how they want to defund the police. Oh, now, get involved. So now you got the gangs running things. There’s a lot of hatred going on there. Places are getting broken into the no one’s doing nothing about it. So shops and businesses are shut down. Yeah. So like, you know, Oregon, now they have crack houses where you can go and shoot up legally and cops’ll do nothing. So I would say those three states would surely separate.

Sean BLoafX
That making heroin legal and stuff. You know, they did that in Portugal, right.

Juan
And how’s Portugal now?

Sean BLoafX
It’s apparently it’s a lot better. They, they took away all of the money that was being spent on trying to fight drugs. And they put that money into helping people with like helping the addicts, in apparent like a lot of the problems associated with drugs have gone down quite a bit. I can see how it works. Because I mean, I haven’t done any. I haven’t researched it a lot. But one thing I did read on it was instead of people like getting dirty needles, and then they have to spend the time in the hospital. And then they’re still addicted. So they get out and then they have to go back to the hospital because they got another dirty needle. It’s like it solved all that because it gave people clean needles. And so hospitalizations went down. And I mean, I haven’t looked into it. But I have heard that Portugal just straight went up all drugs are legal. And it actually is working for them. Now will it work in America? I don’t know.

Juan
I don’t think so.

Sean BLoafX
You don’t think so?

Unknown Speaker
No cuz just get understand Portugal and America are two different countries.

Sean BLoafX
Yeah.

Juan
Two different states of mindsets. So you understand here in America, we’re still racist. You know, the black man, black man still kept down. Still victims of society. So that’s, that’s how people are being raised, like over there in Portugal. It’s like, the way they were raised is totally different from how Americans raised. So that that plays a big part. Like for example, can you go to Germany? What’s the legal age drinking over there?

Sean BLoafX
18

Juan
Yeah. What’s our legal age drinking over here?

Sean BLoafX
Well, it’s 21 for some reason.

Unknown Speaker
Yeah. 21. But over there, you don’t hear. You know, it’s like, DUIs aren’t a big thing over there, f***ing alcoholism is not a big thing over there, compared to here. So it’s like two different mindsets, two different ways. You raised the people, two different ways. You know, the cultures.

Sean BLoafX
Yeah. No, culture has a lot to do with it.

Juan
Yeah.

Sean BLoafX
And like you said, there’s two different mindsets. But America itself has two different mindsets.

Juan
America gets a shit in the mindset.

Sean BLoafX
Yeah, yeah, that’s a lot. And that’s not a, necessarily a bad thing. But I think when it gets to the point where, when everybody’s talking about it all the time, like I was watching that, I was watching that news clip, I’m like, these people are spending so much time worrying about the other person, when really, they probably have a lot of things they could affect within arm’s reach of them by just spending that energy on helping people around them or helping themselves. And if everybody did that, we would probably have a much better place in this entire country.

Juan
See, I plan on doing my part here pretty soon.

Sean BLoafX
What is your part?

Juan
Well, I’m just gonna go down there and a border and adopt one of those those kids that are like held, you know, there was a little little border jumpers I came over. That parents cuz if I take them in, you know, two, three kids. Government’s gonna give me for each kids like 5000 a month. So that’s 15 grand, right? They’re just in here. 3, 3, 3. What do you call it? Three orphans.

Sean BLoafX
This, is that true?

Juan
Yeah.

Sean BLoafX
No!

Juan
You guys should adopt kids.

Sean BLoafX
And you get $5,000 a month?

Juan
Yep.

Sean BLoafX
Or even? That’s too much.

Juan
No it’s not!

Sean BLoafX
I’m a 1000. Well, okay, maybe it’s not if you’re looking to profit off of it. But I have chosen not to have kids because I felt like I have not been in a financial situation to do so.

Juan
Well, now you will be. Because, think about it. It’s like taking care of children. It’s it’s a big responsibility. It’s a job. So on that let Uncle Sammy, you know, or uncle Biden, you know, give you five grand a month for each kid until they’re 18.

Sean BLoafX
Because it’s not them giving you money, Juan. It’s money from other people they’ve taken it from.

Juan
But it’s okay!

Sean BLoafX
If only that was sustainable. That’s not obviously, if if that was sustainable, we wouldn’t be $24 trillion in debt right now.

Juan
Oh, that’s okay. We could always print more. Remember, there’s nothing backing up the dollar.

Sean BLoafX
Except, Mr. Biden. Okay, so to pile on. Since we got a little off track.

Juan
Yeah.

Sean BLoafX
To pile on. So the whole West Coast basically would separate.

Juan
I would say they would.

Sean BLoafX
But then you look at like Colorado, thinks a little bit like them. A lot of New England. Well, not all of…I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that. New Hampshire definitely doesn’t think like them. But like New York, and Connecticut and Delaware, and Rhode Island, all those places, kind of group into that West Coast theory type of thing. But you obviously can’t have the country split up East Coast, West Coast are the same, because then you have the middle people. And I mean, libertarians wouldn’t care. They’d be like, “Alright, cool, free trade, do whatever, you know, let’s make this work.” Whereas if you have the republicans in the middle, they’re going to be angry at the Democrats, and charge them tariffs and all that stuff. So you’d want to keep these two split new countries together. And three, okay. So you know, how I’ve been wanting to move to New Hampshire, right?

Juan
Yeah.

Sean BLoafX
And I can’t move forward until I vent this. So New Hampshire, their whole state motto is Live Free or Die. They don’t have income tax, they don’t have sales tax, a general sales tax, they do have a few taxes on some things. It’s the only state in the country that does not require car insurance. But 89% of the state has car insurance. And that’s probably because the companies have to actually compete with each other to keep the prices lower. Because if everybody has to have it, they know they can charge more.

Juan
Mm hmm.

Sean BLoafX
There’s no seatbelt laws, no motorcycle helmet laws. They basically are the freest state in the nation. However, I just learned this week that there was a coach, a track and field coach, who got fired, because he wasn’t going to make his track team wear face masks when they ran their long distance or done anything. He said, That’s dumb. it hinders the performance and they’re, you know, they’re most for the most part. They’re out there by themselves running.

Juan
Yeah.

Sean BLoafX
And he got fired over it. And it turns out the there’s some national or there’s some statewide, the high school association that put out the recommendation that all athletes wear masks. Then the school adopted that recommendation, but neither party is taking responsibility for it because they’re placing the blame on the other party. So the group that recommended the mask said, “Well, we don’t they don’t have to do it. We just recommend it.” And then the school say, “Well, they recommended it. So we did it. So it’s not on us. They recommended it.” And I’m just sitting there like, gosh, darn it. Please. Watch it. Oh, and here’s the thing. tennis players, singles, tennis players are required to wear masks. And I don’t know why. And I was so in love with New Hampshire. And then I learned all this. And then I’m like, come on. Like this is, this is the one time in our lives where we can really see who is paying attention and who’s not and New Hampshire has let me down.

Juan
Damn, so now you’re not planning to move out there.

Sean BLoafX
I’m still kind of open to it. If this is one of those things, where after all of this has finally settled if it ever does, but let’s just say in a year. It does settle. It definitely would hinder where my chances of going to New Hampshire. It’s beautiful out there. It’s hard to think about because I I’m in South Dakota right now. And this is where I grew up. And there’s this I don’t know what it is about mountains. Dude, I love mountains. I just do. And maybe that’s why if people playing Marvel Puzzle Quest, if you just love playing the game and love spending money on it, just tell me and I’ll get over it. But I can’t really explain why I love mountains. I just it’s they’re awesome to me. I love being around them. But I can’t tell you that I feel more inspired around mountains. And that it just doesn’t happen here anywhere else really. And so I mean, but South Dakota Dude, it’s like this. I’m sit there and I watched the news. And I listened to these news updates like, like when Biden was like you can wear a mask outside if you’re hiking by yourself.

Juan
So think about a shot he asked to move to New Hampshire, you know, like that three little, little little border jumpers, and they live on 15 grand for the rest of your life. Well till they turn 18.

Sean BLoafX
Well, the problem is New Hampshire is pretty expensive. So I’m sure once they find out people are moving up there with their little new kids. They I mean, they can raise the prices even more. I mean, look at McDonald’s. The MCchicken was the same price for literally like a decade or two. Like it was always 99 cents. And then the pandemic hit. And now it went up to $1.49.

Juan
Damn!

Sean BLoafX
And in lumber dude lumber has gone up like 200% in the last year. Like these prices on everything are going up, but nobody’s really talking about it.

Juan
Damn. Well, you get so five kids. That’s what 25 grand.

Sean BLoafX
Well, I think part of it is because it’s, it’s well okay, so it’s not really necessarily. I was gonna talk about computers and graphics cards.

Juan
Yeah. What’s the deal with that? Why is it like so hard and so expensive now?

Sean BLoafX
What cryptocurrency people are buying them for cryptocurrency. So it’s not just gamers that are trying to get them. There’s a whole group of people that are being and then there’s scalpers, obviously, like those 3080s, which sell for $500 MSRP or $600. You can get them for like 2000 right now. Yeah. And I see comments because I, I was upgrading my computer. And now I need a new graphics card. And I got a new motherboard, new CPU. And now I need a graphics card. And I’m just like, because my computer, it’s working a lot faster, but still, After Effects is still having some trouble. So I figure it’s probably because my graphics card is so old. Yeah. So I started looking and like my graphics card, which came out five years ago, you can buy it now. I could sell it for like four or $500. There. And that’s how much it was when it came out. So like, it’s, it’s crazy to me to think that these things cost so much and maybe it is partially COVID related to because there is from my understanding, there’s a shortage of like raw materials to build the graphics cards as well.

Juan
Yeah.

Sean BLoafX
It’s mostly the cryptocurrency people buying them up. But there’s obviously a few other factors and I have heard that there is a shortage of raw materials too. But anyway, But I mean, everybody blames COVID for everything now, so we might blame him for that, too. So, obviously, you can’t split the country horizontally, because then you have the northern half, which is all cold. And I hear a lot of people. The thing is, I hear a lot of people complain, it’s too cold here. I don’t want to be here. But then it’s the same way in the hot people are in the heat, and they’re going us too hot here.

Juan
“I don’t wanna be here.”

Sean BLoafX
Yeah, like you got to pick, stop complaining, if you’re not going to do anything about it, your whole life, your whole life, you’ve complained about it. So make an action or be quiet. And so obviously, I don’t think but I do hear a lot more people complain about the cold than the heat. So you can split it horizontally, you can split it vertically, or maybe you can. Cuz all that’s gonna have to requite be required for this to happen is that a lot of people are going to have to move. Where does the line get drawn? I don’t think I don’t think it really can to make, I mean, it’s, this is what I think it’s just one of those things where it’s like the band aid, dude, you got your band aid on your wound, you know that this band aid just needs to come off. You just kind of rip it off. And it’s gonna hurt bad at first. But I think in the long run, everything would get better. The only other way I could think of is splitting it diagonally. So that there’s a Southern part and a Northern part for each side. But it’s not like, it’s not like these two countries will never you can’t go into the other country. Maybe who knows. Maybe one side will go we hate you so much. We don’t even want you here. I highly doubt that will.

Juan
That’d be so hilarious. Let’s just say every damn state simply its own little country. May seems like the board game risk is like “Alright, let’s go invade this state.”

Sean BLoafX
Yeah. Did you ever play that game Balls 3d?

Juan
No.

Sean BLoafX
It is it was on the Super Nintendo. I think it may have been on Sega Genesis too. But um, you know, old game and there was just like these eight, like humanoid sets of balls. And there’s a fighting game. Wait, am I thinking the wrong game? There was some game back then that had America split up into like seven countries. And the Dakotas and some other part of the Midwest had made one country and and like, I think it was all these countries sent their best fighters to fight or something. I don’t know.

Juan
Really?

Sean BLoafX
But I can’t remember what it was. Maybe I should do some research and find out that game and what they maybe that answers in the game that was made 20 years ago.

Juan
You know what sucks?

Sean BLoafX
What’s that?

Juan
The moment you brought up McDonald’s now what’s a McDonald’s?

Sean BLoafX
Oh my God, dude! The McDonald’s here closed down like a month ago.

Juan
Really?

Sean BLoafX
Yeah, they totally tore it down. It’s an empty lot right now. But they’re rebuilding it. And I’m thinking, oh my god, and whatever reason I went there one day to get something. I ordered it on the app. And then I went there in the building was gone.

Juan
What the hell?

Sean BLoafX
I was like, How can this happen? Like, why don’t they just turn it off? So um, and then McDonald’s. McDonald’s usually has good customer service, but I messaged McDonald’s on Twitter. I hate doing that. But the responses are a lot faster. So I messaged them and I said, hey, how come I can order food from this place, but it’s not, even the building’s gone. And they said, Oh, well let our app team know. And I was like, You let the app team know I already let you. But I just as McDonald’s has, like, hardly ever done me wrong. So I just for I basically just copied my message and put it into the new response. Like I think one time in my whole life. McDonald’s seriously messed up. And I forget where I was. I was in I think, the South somewhere. But I bought a mcflurry. And I went out to the car and I took a scoop of my mcflurry and put it in my mouth. And guess what happened?

Juan
What, brain freeze?

Sean BLoafX
I bit down on pieces of fork.

Juan
What?

Sean BLoafX
Oh, my God, I was like, What? And I like, pulled it out of my mouth. And there were two pieces of a plastic fork in my mouth. And then I dug around in there some more and there was like other chunks of plastic. Like, it looks like a fork got dropped into the machine or something. And I was like, What is this? So I went back I took it in. I said hey there’s there’s like plastic in this thing. And the manager was super, like, super, like, way more apologetic than I had ever experienced from anybody. It was like he killed my dog. He’s trying to make up for it. I was like, No, it’s fine. I didn’t get hurt. I just wanted you to know so nobody else is going to come in here. And he ended up, he basically said, you can just tell me what you want. I’ll make it for you. And I was like, okay, so I just got a couple MC Big Macs or so I didn’t take advantage of it. But yeah, but yeah, McDonald’s. And maybe half of this country is a McDonald’s country.

Juan
Damn, what about Mississippi? Do you think it’d be a kill each other for became its own little, little country like everybody live in there? Would it be like another Civil War down there?

Sean BLoafX
That’s right. It’s like I don’t like thinking that maybe there’s gonna be a civil war. But it feels kind of like there could be. And it’s all a lot of it is based on misinformation, which is the sad thing.

Juan
Yeah.

Sean BLoafX
But you’re kind of in a bad spot down there in Vegas.

Juan
Big time.

Sean BLoafX
But well, especially with everything going on there lately. And that’s one thing, dude. South Dakota is the only state that didn’t have a mask mandate. South Dakota has taken this…basically the the government here said, “Hey, here’s the information we have about the Coronavirus. We trust you people to do the right thing. They do what’s best for you and those around you.” That’s basically been the Coronavirus response here. And then they went and Trump had his fourth of July Independence Day celebration here. And then they had the Sturgis rally here, which brought in hundreds of 1000s of people.

Juan
Oh, that’s true.

Sean BLoafX
And nothing’s changed.

Juan
Did you go to Sturgis?

Sean BLoafX
I went there one time, and it’s just too many people there. It’s a tiny little town. And I would like to go again one day, but I need money. Because the drinks are kind of expensive, dude. There’s people that rent out their houses for like the week and it pays for like the taxes on the houses for the entire year. Like or people rent their house out for the week. And they charge so much money for the house. They use that money to go to like another country. It’s basically like a free vacation. That’s how hard it is to find a place to stay there. But yeah, dude, I think that if this country does start to split up, like South Dakota, is just gonna be by itself. Like, nobody wants to move here because there’s nothing here.

Juan
Damn, but the question is, who would be the good guys and who would be the bad guys?

Sean BLoafX
Oh, that’s that is a good question. It’s whoever wins is the good guy.

Juan
Cuz I guess, I’m just afraid that I might like, shoot my friends out here. Be like, you’re bad guys.

Sean BLoafX
Do you mean like Angel filmmaker? Do you mean like Brylle? Bryllegav?

Juan
Unless they change their ways to the good side. Then it won’t have to come to that.

Sean BLoafX
That’s the funny thing, though, is that whoever whatever side wins, if it does happen is going to be the good guys.

Juan
Oh, yeah. Looking at that. It’s like, for example, if let’s put it this way, if like, if the Confederate, Confederacy would have won, they would have written history as I guess they’re the good guys.

Sean BLoafX
Yeah. It’s the thing is, is that, so the Union one and it’s like, the South was just an evil entity, it needed to be slain and there was nothing good about the South. It’s like the the Confederate flag only represents racism.

Juan
Yeah.

Sean BLoafX
But there’s so much like, Oh my god, dude, have you not had some Southern deep fried chicken?

Juan
Hell’s to the yeah!

Sean BLoafX
If there’s people out there that well, you, you How dare you say anything good about the south, you’re a racist. And it’s just like uh!? I like Southern fried chicken. I’m sorry. Like, that’s, why is that a bad thing? Yeah. It’s amazing to me that that’s how it would probably it plays out. But if this country were to split up into two, it’s super interesting to think about how it would would work. I can see Texas doing it and surviving. But I think some other states would have to basically leave together. But I don’t think we have to worry about it because it Abraham Lincoln already set the standard for you want to leave? Well, I’m going to kill all of you. Like, stupid. Nobody knows about the Corwin Amendment. There was the original 13th amendment that said that the federal government has no power into whether or not states should have slavery, the Corwin amendment would have made it so each state could decide if it wanted slavery or not. But everybody believes the South left because they wanted to keep their slaves. So if the Corwin amendment passed, the South would have been able to keep their slaves and nothing would have happened. And Lincoln supported that. But it didn’t get passed, because the South voted against it, or didn’t even I don’t even think they voted on it, because that’s not what they were concerned about. They were concerned about, like the tariffs. Lincoln raised tariffs up 50% within three days of his presidency, so that was gonna hurt the southern economy. But that doesn’t have anything to do with. Sorry, if I’m kind of rambling here.

Juan
No, I mean, you’re right. But it no longer has to do anything with history because the Confederates lost.

Sean BLoafX
Yeah, yeah. So the Confederates were evil losers, even though the North went down there and just destroyed cities and killed 60,000 civilians, but but the southerners, like their slaves. So I guess that trumps everything. And, you know, there was, there was this, there was this professor at a college once. He said, “Who here is against, like, racism?” And of course, everybody raised their hands, right? And then, “Who here in the 1800s, in Mobile, Alabama, would be against racism?” And everybody still kept their hands up. And he’s saying, “So 100% of you think that if you grew up in Mobile, Alabama and the 1800s, you would be outspoken against slavery? And you would do everything you can to make sure it doesn’t happen?” And the kids were like, yeah, and he’s like, so how come 0% did? And, and then the kids get all mad because they’re like, well, I would do it like, no, it’s the same, it’s the same thought that in Germany in 1930, you probably would have been a Nazi.

Juan
Oh, how else you get whooped?

What?

How else you get whooped by the Gustapos?

Sean BLoafX
Or sent to a Russian gulag?

Juan
Exactly.

Sean BLoafX
But yeah, like, people don’t think about how the life of the people were in certain situations in history. And that and looking, you know, like, have you seen that episode of South Park with Captain Hindsight?

Juan
No

Sean BLoafX
Oh no! But hindsight is 2020. We can look back into history and talk about how we, we would have done everything the right way. But if that was, if everybody today can go back and do it, then why didn’t anybody do it back then.

Juan
You know what? It’s like the same thing with this COVID virus. It’s like, why did so many shops have it closed down? Why do so many, you know, family owned business had to close down? You know, I guarantee you, it’s like, let’s just say, six, seven years from now, I was like, oh, man, we could have just done this differently. You know, people didn’t have to lose their jobs. And you have to, like, shut down, like, properly on business days. You know, why did we let the government you know, start controlling us? You know, yeah. So yeah, it’s like examples, like right now. It’s like, why can’t these places open up? Why can’t these local businesses open up? All the virus is still there, but yet, for some reason, you could still go into a restaurant, sit at a table, take your mask off, and you’re okay. Yeah, but the moment you get up all you have put your mask on.

Sean BLoafX
Yeah.

Juan
So it’s like, it still makes a lot of this. What’s going on? Makes still no sense.

Sean BLoafX
No, it doesn’t it. I know, I’ve said it on the podcast before but when I went back down to Vegas for a few days and visited you guys, and we went to Barleys. And we had to have our mask on unless we were taking a drink. I especially after being in a place where you just don’t have to like wear a mask anywhere. And I mean, how many I don’t know how many times I had gone out to one of the local bars here and had just gone out and had drinks and had a good time with people. And then I get down there and I can’t see Juan’s smiling face. I couldn’t see Angel Filmmaker’s smiling face because you had to wear your mask unless you had the entree in front of you, which somehow just repels Coronavirus.

Juan
Exactly.

Sean BLoafX
So really instead of wearing masks, if we all just care plates of food everywhere, we’d all be fine. Why has nobody ever thought of that? That’s what you so you people in Vegas should be doing just walk around with a plate of food. Exactly. And then when you put a mask on, don’t worry, sir. I got my cordon bleu. Dang it. I gotta go back down to Vegas and do that now.

Juan
Yeah.

Okay, so the topic of this podcast was “Should America split into two and how?” And I think we’ve talked about that for like, five minutes.

It just means like, gone off on those different directions.

Sean BLoafX
Like all over the place. But it’s, it’s a hard question. It’s hard. You can’t just answer it, especially since I just kind of sprung it on you five seconds before we started recording. But really, I mean, I, I would love to see it happen. And I think it’s just gonna have to be a band aid scenario.

Juan
You know what, but I really think that it’s gonna, if it did split up, I would say it’s split up into multiple areas. Because of course, you got those that you know, for example, you got those like lovey dovey bees, you know, tree huggers. They don’t believe in weapons and love, you know, like, yeah, like in Portland, Oregon, you know, it’s a third world country right now.

Sean BLoafX
Yeah.

Juan
You know, where it’s like, you know, what’s like, Oh my god, you know, where the characters live. And they get those ones that are just like, gun loving, you know, my freedom comes first kind of people, you know, get off my property. So, you know, you got those times and then of course you got those that are be like now well, you know, what, it’s, you know, let’s conservative people, you know, the ones where it’s like, now let’s just, let’s just sit down, talk it over, see what’s what’s fair for for this for both sides, so we can all leave live, you know, equally. And then you got those that are like, screw the white people, you know, we should have our own nation. Such as one big clusterfuck

Sean BLoafX
so the question is, you’ve lived in Vegas and in Southern California your whole life? if, let’s say the Hodge twins go started, they started a new country over in like Northern Michigan. Would you move up there?

Juan
Gaw, you ever been in Michigan’s fucking cold as fuck!

Sean BLoafX
I know! Would people be willing to move for their political ideology if the climate doesn’t agree with what they like?

Juan
Huh. But then we’re within I mean, there’s a lot of mountains and livestock out there to go hunting, which is good.

Sean BLoafX
See, it’s quiet.

Juan
It’s quiet.

Sean BLoafX
That’s to me. That’s just the wild thing is how quiet it is here compared to Vegas. But, but yeah, so final thoughts. Juan on getting the country split up to two parts so people can be happy.

Juan
Just remember, you can only go you can either…what’s the word I want to say? You can only choose one side guys. You’re either bad. Or you’re a good guy.

Sean BLoafX
Oh, and if only we were psychic, so we could pick the good side. AKA the winning side, aka the side that killed more.

You know, I think the LGBTQ people would be the first ones to go extinct.

Why is that?

Juan
Because for some reason, nobody likes them. So I think they’re the first ones down.

Sean BLoafX
Oh Juan! And with that.
