How to Respond: Pro Wrestling Is Fake!

You know it.  You know how it feels.  When you say anything to the thought that MAYBE you watch professional wrestling, or WWE’s Sports Entertainment, you are undoubtedly told that it’s fake! Or Fixed! Or Planned! Or Prepared! Or Set Up!

First, if you haven’t seen Max Landis’s “Wrestling Isn’t Wrestling,” spend the next 24 minutes absorbing some of the most fun and thought provoking pro wrestling commentary ever created:

(“People who say it’s fake, clearly don’t watch wrestling”)

I’m very glad this has finally breached over 3,000,000 views, although I still believe it should have a lot more than that.  It hovered around 1,000,000 for the longest time!

Now, my 2 minute response that isn’t as good and was done in like an hour:

(Nowadays, I just say “FOOOOIIIIIIIIIIKE!”)

My responses in short:
1.  Movies are fake too!
2.  Sports are fake too, because those players wouldn’t be there if the money wasn’t there!
3.  You wear hair gel?  You dye your hair?
4.  Why are UFC fighters fighting?  Money.  Would two people go out and fight with no reason if there is no money involved?
