2nd Generation Echo
2nd Generation Echo place right in the middle between the living room and kitchen and it sounds great!
Before getting the 2nd Generation Echo, I had the Echo Dot. Getting the 2nd Generation Echo was like injecting the Echo Dot full of steroids!
One of my favorite things about Alexa is her ability to Find My Phone. It’s a skill you can enable on the Alexa App. You know how many times you misplace your phone, or your phone falls in the cracks somewhere. Now, Alexa can call your phone! Only downside is that you’ll need to keep your ring tone volume up – it won’t turn it on.
What Sold Me on Alexa?
So many people have reviewed Alexa/Echo that all I wanted to do was tell you what I use it mostly for – Alarms.
Have you ever been already laying down and you’re about to fall asleep on the couch, but you don’t want to get up to go to bed and your phone is out of reach or the battery is dead?
I found myself in that situation one night. When I’m ready to sleep, I’m ready to sleep! I don’t want to get up and wake back up!
So, laying there, facing the back of the couch, I said, “Alexa, set alarm for 6 A.M.”
Alexa woke me up at 6:00 A.M.
